CALL FOR PRESENTERS
The International Mountain Medicine Symposium invites clinicians, rescuers, researchers, and outdoor professionals to submit presentation proposals for our upcoming Symposium this Fall. This unique gathering brings together leaders in wilderness medicine, alpine rescue, and prehospital care to share knowledge and advance the practice of medicine in remote and high-risk environments. Hosted by Silverton Medical Rescue, the symposium focuses on improving patient care, operational coordination, and rescue techniques in mountainous and austere settings.

Join us in the San Juan Mountains to share your expertise, learn from peers, and help improve care in some of the world’s most challenging environments. All presenters must be registered for the conference.
The deadline for proposals is May 31, 2026, at midnight (MDT). Decisions on acceptance will be made by June 30, 2026.
